Why have you chosen to compete in Red Bull Crashed Ice?
I didn't really choose to compete in Red Bull Crashed Ice, the opportunity kind of fell in my lap. After my first race I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of.
Which skill(s) do you most need to be successful at ice cross downhill?
To be successful you need to be a skilled skater on the ice and have a background of multiple extreme sports.
How have you been preparing for this year’s World Championship?
I prepared by getting in the gym every day and hitting the ice every chance I could.
Which event are you most looking forward to and why?
I'm looking forward to Saint Paul the most because it will be my hometown event and I will have all my friends and family there to support me.
Have you set yourself a target for where you want to finish?
At the beginning of the season my goal was to finish in the top 10 at the end of the year. After a second place in Niagara Falls my goal has risen to a top-three finish because I know that I have what it takes to be a force out there and I want to show the world that the USA has what it takes to be a top contender in the sport of ice cross downhill.

What is your favourite sport and why?
Ice cross downhill because it is the most entertaining sport out there to watch.
