Charles's Details
About Charles
Japanese Punk Style
Like his brother Thomas, Charles Pagès has a totally different background to most the other FMX riders. He was a very good BMX rider, but found himself faced the problem that the jumps just felt too small. Picking up an FMX magazine and seeing the tricks on show gave his life a completely new drive. From that point on it was clear that his next investment had to be a dirtbike.
Charles accomplished his dream transferring his BMX skills to FMX bikes, mainly thanks to a lot of intense practice on the track and the determination to ride all the big international events he had read about in the magazines and seen in the videos. Looking at his insane bag of tricks and phat style, it is almost impossible to believe that he started out in FMX only five years ago. Indeed, it is even harder to believe when you see him fearlessly attempting new, untried tricks! In 2009, he came incredibly close to becoming the first riders to land a Frontflip in competition.
Most of the time, you will see him chilling with his brother at events and getting crazy at the after-party. His shirt is emblazoned with the words “Brother´s Trip”. What more can you say?
