Dani's Details
About Dani
Dani first rode a motorbike at the age of four, an Italijet 50 complete with side wheels. He made his professional debut at 16, going on to win the 125cc class. In 2004 he stepped up to 250cc, winning on his debut and going on to become the youngest ever world champion.
Like his compatriot Fernando Alonso, he successfully defended his title to become the youngest double world champion. Riding for Repsol Honda, he made his debut in the top flight in 2006, and secured his first premier class win the same year.
Although his career has been blighted by injury, including numerous fractures and neck traumas, Pedrosa is consistent, continually qualifying well and finishing at or near the top. It seems it is just a matter of time before Dani takes the MotoGP championship title.
