About David
If you’re born on the Isle of Man then chances are you’re going to grow up on and around motorcycles. But the island’s great road racing history didn’t appeal to David – it was Enduro that fired Squarefoot's imagination. So much so that six British Enduro Championship wins have been followed by two world titles, an indoor world crown and back-to-back GNCC Championship wins in 2007/08 in the US.
After a brief return to WEC in Europe in 2009, Knighter returned to the US and to winning ways with immediate victory at the super tough Snowshoe GNCC event in West Virginia on his new ride, a Kawasaki KX450F.
His full return to Europe and KTM in 2010 saw Knighter back on the winning road. He crowned himself World and British Enduro Champion.
