Henrik was practically born on skis – growing up with a father who was an instructor, he started tearing down slopes almost as soon as he could walk, and by the time he was 24, he had already won the Nordic Extreme Championships six times.

Further successes at the 2000 Red Bull Big Air in his home town of Åre, and 2002 Junior World Mogul Championships, showcased his talent as an all-round shredder. Five X Games slopestyle and halfpipe spots also brought him fans around the world.

2008 was the year it all went crazy for Henrik though as he scooped the Freeride World Champion crown after a string of strong results – including two wins in Russia and France – on the World Tour. When Henrik is not competing he can be found going huge in the backcountry or stomping the parks, honing his skills for his next title assault.
