Having started riding at the tender age of two, FMX changed Jeremy’s life forever aged 16 when he joined the notorious Metal Mulisha crew. After an almost fatal crash in 2006, Twitch demonstrated what the word comeback really means with a third place at the 2007 X-Games. His mad bike skills brought him more victories in 2007 and he was on a mission to win the Red Bull X-Fighters Tour 2008, a goal he was ultimately prevented from achieving by an injury he suffered at the third event of the Tour.
Unlike most of the other riders, Stenberg rode the event in Madrid (ESP) on a Kawasaki 450, a standard race machine weighing in 10kg heavier that most of the other riders’ bikes and powered by four-stroke rather than the usual two-stroke engine. After a frustrating 2009 and 2010, Twitch will be looking to return to his classic form of old in 2011 and show the world why he is one of the most exciting FMX riders on the scene.
