About Kaya
Skiing for merely five years, Kaya Turski has put her determination and passion for the sport to good use rising to the dizzying heights of becoming a back-to-back X Games winner in slopestyle skiing.
Even though two of those seasons were spent healing from injury, Kaya has quickly become the “it” girl in the ski scene. In 2009 Kaya became a professional podium finisher as she took home many first places finishes in the Women’s Slopestyle in competitions such as Breckenridge Dew Tour, Mt. Snow Dew Tour, Orage European Cup, the Homecoming Kristi Leskinen Invitational and ranked the number one in Women’s Slopestyle by AFP.
She also finished third at the 2009 Winter X Games. Continuing the momentum, Kaya opened 2010 in true winning style as she walked away with first place in Women’s Slopestyle at the 2010 Winter X-Games and repeated this outstanding feat for a second time in 2011.
