About Kye
Coming from a family of avid BMX riders, British hero Kye Forte was destined to make it in the world of two wheels. The 2005 Dirt Jumping World Champion says he can’t remember a time when he wasn’t riding a bike.
Kye says he prefers dirt trail riding and is most at home at the Decoy Trails in his own neck of the woods in Devon, on the south coast of England. “My first memories are of ripping our back garden with my brothers and digging holes in the law… it’s much the same now! My parents are still getting livid nowadays with ghetto ramps everywhere around the house.”
Active in the BMX community and along with his brothers Toby and Leo, professionally races bikes at contests around the world. Noted for a smooth style on the bike, Kye is also gifted in tackling complex courses.
Kye is also the founder of the ‘Movement-quot’, which promotes grass roots riding in the BMX industry. Aside from life on two wheels, he’s a big fan of snowboarding and like most English lads, enjoys a good curry!
