About Red Bull Skydive Team

Six men, one common passion. The Red Bull Skydive Team has 'dared to do' about 13,000 times, and enjoyed every single launch into freefall.

The team’s specialty is canopy formation (CF), also called canopy relative work (CRF), where skydivers build spectacular formations with their open parachutes. Extreme caution and concentration are needed when taking grips on other jumpers’ parachutes in order to fly together. At an altitude of 600 meters, two jumpers perform a down plane in which two deployed parachutes glide towards the ground away from each other, facing downward. Another pair of jumpers steers down to the landing area.

After last year’s many competitions and shows abroad, including Dubai, Arizona, Abu Dhabi, Rio and Zurich, material checks in the “non-active” time (November, December) and a wingsuit training camp in the US in spring 2011, a large project is planned for Austria. We won’t say much, but this is for sure: The space between heaven and earth can be used for the most extraordinary things.
