About Adam
Nicknamed the Polish Eagle, Adam is one of the most successful ski jumpers of all time. He made his FIS World Cup Ski Jumping debut in 1995, but after six years of hard work, he enjoyed his first success in the 2000/01 season, winning the Four Hills and the World Cup, which he retained for the next two seasons.
In 2002, Adam took silver in individual large hill and bronze in individual normal hill at the Winter Olympic in Salt Lake City. With ever-greater experience, he continues to be a formidable force in ski jumping, winning the fourth of his World Cup titles in 2008 and returning to the Olympics in 2010 to leave Vancouver with two silver medals.
But when he's not taking to the air, Adam keeps both feet firmly planted on the ground and has lived his whole life in Wisła in southern Poland. He's a national hero in Poland and has been awarded the Order of Polania Restituta twice for his sporting achievements.
