As Red Bull Stratos comes closer to deadline, the mission's experts have revealed encouraging results from the latest high-altitude test jumps high over the California desert and step-off procedure tests involving bungee jumping 200ft off a crane. Far from having a gung-ho, "death is not an option" approach to the mission, for pilot Felix Baumgartner it's all about preparation and attention to detail. For him, the biggest fear, is the fear of failure.
