- The ASP Billabong Pro Tahiti opening day kicked off with some epic turns and a near perfect score by Red Bull surfer Adriano de Souza, with two impressive barrels on his backhand. Not so lucky was Australian, and two-time ASP WCT winner, Mick Fanning who was beaten in his first round heat by Taylor Knox.
