About this Video: The Pipeline Pro Trials - the qualification rounds to enter into the main event for men, women and dropknee at the Pipeline Pro (February 15-25) - have taken place at Sandy Beach, Hawaii. Chris Won, Damian King, Brian Wise, Jessica Becker, Aoi Kioke were among those in action. The kick-off to the first Grandslam event (one of eight events in the 2011 tour) begins with the traditional blessing which asks for the protection and safety of the athletes participating in the dangerous waves of the Pipeline where on average two deaths occur every year.
