- Yesterday afternoon Swiss athlete Christian Maurer touched down in Monaco and successfully defended his Red Bull X-Alps title. He completed one of the toughest editions in X-Alps history, in 11 days, four hours and 22 minutes, and again proved he's one of the world’s best. Now the rest of the field have until Saturday afternoon (48 hours after the first athlete has finished) to fight their way to Monaco, before the Red Bull X-Alps 2011 is officially concluded.
