Kuwait will host the first qualifier of 2012 Red Bull Car Park Drift. This event, sponsored by Chevrolet with the collaboration of Quarter Mile Club, starts today at 6:00pm at Parking Lot 4 of Kuwait International Fair.

Lebanese Rally Champion and Middle East Hill Climb Champion, Red Bull’s Driver Abdo Feghali arrived on Wednesday to Kuwait. Feghali, a veteran in motorsports, will put his final touches on the Red Bull Car Park Drift course.

“We have made some huge upgrades to the track design. This year Red Bull Car Park Drift focuses on drifting rather than speeding, the course that we have set is challenging, fun to drive and extremely safe. I invite all motorsport fans in Kuwait to come and enjoy this event.” Said Abdo Feghali.

The emerging winner from this qualifier will get the chance to compete at the Grand Finale which will take place in Lebanon on Friday, July 6th 2012.
