Kano, Ghetts and Melé came to Red Bull Studios at the beginning of July to record an exclusive live remix of ‘Beamer’ for 'The Co-Sign' series on SoulCulture.co.uk. During the session Red Bull Studios caught up with the duo to find out how the collaboration came about.
How did you end up working together?
Melé: I sent the beat to Kane, he said he liked it and we got in the studio and did it in two sessions.
What’s it like working in the studio with Kano?
Melé: The thing that I like about Kane is that he is really easy to work with and if something doesn’t feel right he's not bothered about going in and doing it again.
Tell us why ‘Beamer’ is going to smash it?
Kano: The tune is a banger. A straight up banger. It’s just straight energy and I think it’s the best track I’ve done this year. I can’t wait to perform it live.
