This Thursday is 'Go Skateboarding Day' here's our pick of the top 10 jams taking place in the UK so you can get your skate on.

  1. First up is Scotland head to The Space in North Berwick where you can enjoy £1 skate sessions from 10am-2pm and 6pm-10pm. The daytime session is open to 16+ and the night session is open to everyone and as if that wans't enough the cafe is open all day so you can fuel up on bacon sandwiches and nachos for your run- yay!

  3. Next up is Meethill Skatepark in Peterhead, this outdoor park is hosting a jam for  anyone with a board and a passion for skateboarding. They want you to helep them take back Peterhead Skatepark back and return it to it's original grandeur. Come one,come all, have fun and SKATE.

  5.  Then we head south of the border to Telford and Wrekin where the TW Street Skaters are getting everyone together at Telford Magistrates Courts to head out and take over the town on their boards.

  7.  In Peterborough local store Two Seasons is organising a mega skate jam sesh to get the town out and on their boards, there will also be special deals on everything from decks to trucks to get you set up and ready to roll.

  11.  Next we head to the coast, first up is Southend where they're keeping it simple and simply skating the seafront, so if you fancy shredding whilst taking in some waves this is your first stop.

  13. Meanwhile in Chichester they're taking it big! The events start at Chichester Skatepark at 4pm with a chilled skate for an hour then on to the multi-storey carpark for a big game of skate!! Then a death race from the top floor!!!  Bring your helmets kids!

  15.  Not be left out Worthing are also in on the game, their plan is to meet at Homefield Park at 4, skate for an hour then head to town for some street sessions and finally take it to the pier for  a big game of S.K.A.T.E out! Party on!

  17.  Then we head to London for two major jams, first is the 'Supra and Slam Go Skate Day' starting at Slam City Skates at 4.30pm then hitting up some street spots on the way to Kennington, there's a chance to win some prizes and kick back for some drinks too.

  19.  Finally there's a huge NIKE Jam at Bay 66 Skatepark in West London, the park is due to close for a big refurb soon so this day is going to be big. There will be free entry all day and Nike SB riders such as Sean Malto, Youness Amrani, Lewis Marnell, Wieger Van Wageningen will be skating various London parks and street spots throughout the day before a final demo at the park.
