Beach Break Live is an award winning boutique beach side bonanza of magic and memories, combining a killer line up, frivolous fun and an unrivalled vibe, with 17,500 like minded folk converging to celebrate the start of summer.
The sold out spectacular in 2009 was heralded as the UK’s Best Small Festival, yet 2010 proved to be BBL's golden year as they moved to what is regarded as the most exciting festival location on the planet – the stunning Pembrey Country Park in South Wales – between June 14 and June 18, 2010.
If the stellar line-up wasn’t enough to entice you then the eight miles of sandy beach and a woodland adventure park certainly was.
It has been a remarkable journey for founders Celia Norowzian & Ian Forshew, whose solitary appearance on BBC’s Dragons Den in 2007 expanded their creation from crowds of a couple of hundred to close to 20,000 just three years later.
Beach Break Live 2010 proved a statement of their success with a near instant sell-out, which forced the organisers to release an additional 500 tickets.
Acts included Calvin Harris, Chase & Status, Ellie Goulding, Plan B, The Futureheads, Example, New Young Pony Club, I Blame Coco, Daisy Dares You, Beardyman and many many more.
Joining them on the decks and ensuring that you got a serious groove on were Annie Mac, High Contrast, Sub Focus and other DJ favourites.
Red Bull supported in stellar fashion with a swanky VIP area that kept artists and special guests dancing to the early hours. Even Example himself couldn't resist playing an impromptu set from the Red Bull DJ desk, while the Red Bull Sugga roamed the site creating queue raves and a sound system for the Snowboarding competition.
