Red Bull Studios brought together techno DJs Joe And Will Ask with four up and coming designers to create bespoke soundtracks for their first ever London Fashion Week shows

This season, Red Bull brought their innovative flair to the SS12 runways of London Fashion Week with Catwalk Studio, a project that enabled four up and coming designers to collaborate with the original beats of Ministry of Sound residents Joe and Will Ask.

The project gave designers Fanny & Jessy, Jane Bowler, Eleanor Amoroso and Shinsuke Mitsuoka the opportunity to take time out in the run up to LFW to work closely with the two producers in the Red Bull Studio.  By taking creative influences from their collections, bespoke tracks were collaborated to complement their clothes on the LFW catwalk.

"The atmosphere was amazing, especially with the beat of the music as the models were going out. It was really getting them in the mood. I could see them tapping their feet." Jane Bowler

With exclusive access to the designers and producers, a behind the scenes feature has been created documenting the journey from cloth to the catwalk which you can view at www.redbull.co.uk/catwalkstudio. You can also download the four bespoke tracks created by Joe and Will Ask here for free.

Joe and Will Ask are two young musicians who have shaped much of East London's dance scene with their 'Vikings' nights and recent releases. Hailed as this generation's Soulwax, the duo have been working on an extraordinary debut album to be released at the end of 2011.

Eleanor Amoroso

London based designer Eleanor Amoroso launched her label last season after attracting attention for her uniquely handcrafted graduate collection. The brand encompasses modern elegance and a tough, darker side with perhaps the most intriguing thing being the fact that each piece is made entirely by hand and not machine. Her work has been previously described as a "commemoration of the forgotten art of craftsmanship" and was featured on the cover of Volt Magazine on model Alice Dellal, just months after graduating.

Jane Bowler

After graduating from the RCA in July 2010, Jane Bowler's collection was instantly photographed by Nick Knight to appear in Anotherman Magazine, setting her up as one of London's freshest new designers. Her innovative approach to fashion design is highlighted transforming inexpensive and mundane materials using unique heat forming techniques to create dramatic garments incorporating a wealth of textures, whilst making sure that Bowler retains a sense of fun and playfullness.

Shinsuke Mitsuoka

Japanese brand Liberum Arbitrum designed by Shinsuke Mitsuoka which is a young Nottingham Trent graduate based in Paris. Mitsuoka moved to Paris to work for Couture house Gustavolins to acquire couture techniques. The brand creates a gothic and futuristic world and draws inspiration from the contrasting elements; darkness and lightness and loud and silence. 'Deep Forest' is his second collection - the collection is dark and futuristic and embodies the travel into the gothic setting of a dense forest with its droop vines and covered ivy. Mitsuoka has worked with layers to create movement and embodiment within the collection, the zip details which are prominent all over the collection works as visual reference towards the deep forest.
