Bouncing Cats is the inspiring documentary of one man's attempt to use the power of hip-hop for positive social change in Uganda.
Narrated by Common and featuring interviews with Will.I.Am and K'Naan, the story follows Crazy Legs of the Rock Steady Crew and b-boy Abramz from Breakdance Project Uganda on a journey to unify, empower and inspire youth of a war torn region.
It was recently honored with the coveted award for Best Documentary Feature from the Urbanworld Film Festival, the leading showcase for urban, ethnic, and multi-cultural cinema.
Bouncing Cats, will be shown at the Gluck Theater in the Mountainlair on Tuesday, March 29 at 6:30 PM. The fraternity, TKE, arranged this open movie screening for all WVU students.
