The first Red Bull 400 World Champions are crowned, Yukari Tanaka (JAP, singles women), Ahmet Arslan (TUR, singles men), ASK Slavia Praha (CZE, mens relay), Run for Hospi (GER, mixed relay) and BWG Rutzenmoos (AUT, firefighters relay) captured the first ever world titles.

They headed a field from more than 1.000 competiors (698 men, 119 women, 62 overall in the relays.

Those starters represented 40 countries from all continents.
