Due to the high risk caused by air quality conditions resulting from the recent fires affecting many parts of British Columbia, the Red Bull 400 race scheduled for Saturday August 5 has been cancelled.

“Delivering a premium race that is safe and provides a positive experience for athletes is our ultimate goal for Red Bull 400,” said Geoff Langford, Race Director. “Unfortunately our event team, in consultation with experts, felt under the current conditions, this is not possible.”

Current registered participants will receive a full refund for their registration or, if they choose, Red Bull will defer their registration to the race scheduled next year, on July 14, 2018.
