Hi, my name is Daniel Bodin. My discipline is snowmobile freestyle. I was born on 21 September 1984 in Malung, Sweden. My special talent is backflips, and freestyle motocross. My philosophy of life is life is too short to spend in front of the TV. My favourite food is classic Swedish home cooking. My favourite music is Metallica, Motorhead, AC/DC, Johnny Cash and System of a Down.

Bio

FSX – or Freestyle Snowmobile Cross – is the wintry equivalent of FMX, and Daniel is like a Travis Pastrana on skids. At the 2007 Nokia Air & Style in Munich, Germany, he stole the show from the snowboarders when his unbelievable backflips left the 30,000+ crowd open-mouthed in amazement and earned him the coveted first prize.

Daniel raised the bar even further in April 2008 when he set the world record for the longest backflip on a snowmobile – the Swede propelling his machine a massive 44.8 metres (147 feet). This is definitely one demonstration you won’t want to miss and it earned him instant legendary status.

When Daniel isn’t tearing up slopes around the world he can be found on his bike dishing up some equally impressive trickery on two wheels. A true ambassador of the sport, he has been one of the main players on the Red Bull X Fighters Exhibition Tour, which takes FMX to far-flung places like Russia, India and Kazakhstan. Also a regular at the Winter X Games, with a few golds under his belt, Daniel continues to push the boundaries no matter what the terrain, even if an injury at the end of 2013 put him out of action for the 2014 X Games.
