Michael Beran is without doubt the best Czech BMX freestyle rider out there with a big future in front of him. He has already achieved some astounding results in competitions with seemingly unattainable achievements all within his grasp.
Michael – "Berry" to his friends and fans – has made it to the finals of high profile contests including the BMX Masters and Vans Rebel Jam events. During the winter, he travels from Europe to the US where he can train at the world famous Woodward facility, where he rides with the world’s elite.
First hooked on BMX in 2004, he is now a fully-fledged member of the sport’s top professionals. In 2010 Michael made the podium in a whole host of contests including a spectacular first place in the Hard Trick category at the Vans Rebel Jam. He also took the top honours in the Best Trick contest at the Nike 6.0 BCN BMX Pro event in Barcelona, Spain, for his bikeflip to tailtap to tailwhip.
Michael ripped it up with the best of the best at 2012 Red Bull Skylines and the FISE X BMX Pro contest in Paris. He has since taken home some more metalware from Simple Session 2013, with a second place in the BMX thanks in part to his history-making sick 360 bikeflip to tailwhip.
