Hi, my name is Vasya Lukyanenko. My discipline is BMX street. I was born on 1 January 1992 in Elizovo, Russian Federation. My special talent is my unique riding style. My philosophy of life is ride for yourself. My favourite food is meat. My favourite music is ASAP Rocky, OFWGKTA, Curren$y... lots of metal, soul and hip hop.

Bio

In 2006, a 14-year-old Vasya Lukyanenko started riding BMX... Two years later he began riding for the Wethepeople bike company and won his first Red Bull Transformers contest. As a prize, he was invited to participate at the 2009 Bike Hall Contest in the Czech Republic. Despite being up against some of the best, he managed to finish 36th out of 85 participants.

Later that year, Vasya participated in the summer Simple Session in Tallinn and took 16th place out of 67 – a phenomenal feat for someone who had only been riding for 5 years!

He has since returned to the Bike Hall Contest and took 13th place. A year later he pulled out all the stops at the Moscow Adrenalin Games to take 4th place, as well as taking gold at the Pringles Contest in Kiev.

At the end of 2015 he garnered plenty of attention for his Stainless project, shot in a steelworks in his native Ukraine.

For the future, Vasya's sights are firmly set on winning X Games gold.
