Hi, my name is Jaime Quintanilla. My discipline is BMX Race. I was born on 30 January 1997 in La Paz, Bolivia. My philosophy of life is the defeats of tomorrow come from our doubts of today.

Jaime Quintanilla is the most accomplished BMX rider from Bolivia and one of the most promising international riders. He started riding when he was just six years old – having only been off the training wheels for a week – and began practising BMX races with his brother and his neighbours.

The day he won his first trophy, Jaime decided that he would keep racing for as long as he could. “I wouldn’t swap a day with my bike for anything," he says. "When I ride, I'm in the moment and forget about everything, it’s just me and the bike.”

Jaime has won more than 180 departmental, national, and international titles and has been nominated for the prestigious Lyambae Victoria Alada award numerous times. His goal is to qualify for the Olympics and to become a world champion.
