Bio

Daniel Wedemeijer has taken part in the likes of BMX Worlds in Antwerp and FISE WORLD Montpellier, and his talent earned him a spot in the Nitro Circus crew for the 2013 European Tour.

"Nitro Circus was a completely new experience," says Daniel. "The ramp was the biggest I've ever ridden, and there are so many people involved in the creation of this show for 10 to 20 thousand spectators per show. The atmosphere was groundbreaking for all riders”.

Daniel’s skills are constantly evolving, and he's always eager to show off his new tricks. During the Antwerp show, he landed a 720 tailwhip and during his ride for Red Bull Framed Reactions – which he helped to organise – he pulled off a brutal backflip over the canals.

But Daniel is not just a showman. "I'm just a BMX rider. And I do what I want to do. Sometimes this is a game and the other time a show. During a competition it’s 'game on' and I focus completely on the podium. But it does not really matter what I do. Because once I'm on my BMX, I'm happy!”.
