Have you ever been to Winterberg before?
No, it’s my first time in Winterberg and it's just been raining ever since I got here – so not a really good first impression! But we had a little window, so we tried the jumps, the course. And it's fun to ride. So I hope that the weather is gonna get better and we can just ride all day tomorrow.

Tell us more about the course…
Course is sick, dude! Course is just perfect. We’ve got two lines, a big line and a smaller line, and it's fun. First drop hurts a little bit when you land ’cause it's a little mellow. But after that wallride, you’re pretty much pinning it to these ramps.

I'm pretty sure that after this comp we’re gonna start seeing courses getting a little bigger

Are the jumps big enough for you?
Yeah, they are big, that's for sure. They're a little bigger than we are used to. I think that everyone is gonna see that big jumps are better for the show, better for tricks, better for everyone. I'm pretty sure that after this comp we’re gonna start seeing courses getting a little bigger, you know? So I'm pretty pumped about it.

This course is really big for Europe, the biggest one so far. Do you think it'll be a case of survival for the riders or are they going to pull their best tricks on this course?
I don't know man, I think that this is FMB. This is the best freeride road tour in the world. If you're not able to hit these jumps, f****** go home and practise your ass off! This is the best contest in the world, so the jumps are big. If you aren’t at the level or have the balls to hit them, just go home. That's how it is, man. This is the way it should be, I think: just fast, big lips into big landings and just riding down the hill, pinning it, you know? It's gonna be perfect!
