The Pearl Theatre at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas was buzzing on Wednesday night as red carpet hosts Sal Masekela and Richie Schley welcomed big-name guests, including the film's stars Darren Berrecloth and Andreu Lacondeguy and Red Bull athletes Travis Rice and Steve Fisher.
The launch of the groundbreaking mountain bike movie drew a crowd of nearly 1,800 fans, while more than 100,000 online viewers watched via the live stream on www.redbull.com/wherethetrailends.com.
“We’ve made a lot of films through the years. This one was a long time coming,” said Darren Berrecloth. “It was definitely a big push – we had to deal with a lot of stuff - hiking, camping, not being able to have a shower. It was a big ordeal, a tough gig. We’ve always tried to push the envelope and we really had to dig deep as riders on this one.”
