Tools of choice
A row of mountain bikes sit waiting for the riders to use as Red Bull Rampage Finals practice gets underway on Saturday

Building the line
Before practice riding began on Saturday, Darren Berrecloth was out working on one of his lines on the Red Bull Rampage course

Route planning
Darren Berrecloth (right) later talks to Red Bull Rampage organiser Todd Barber (left) about the route and lines he plans to take for finals day

Glory for Gee?
Gee Atherton will be out of his comfort zone for Red Bull Rampage. Don't count him out for finals day on Sunday. He finished 2nd in the 2010 edition after pulling a huge quarter pipe transfer on the course

Semenuk on the drop
Brandon Semenuk leads the overall FMB World Tour standings. He needs to finish ahead of Martin Söderström in today's Red Bull Rampage finals to secure the title

Riding the ridge
Cameron Zink rides the narrow centre ridge trail just after the start gate. The ridge allows riders to build up leg speed but control is also needed with a big fall either side if they get it wrong

Rheeder's on it
Brett Rheeder qualified 5th after Friday's qualifying round and will be hoping to make the same sort of impact in today's final

Strait to it
Kyle Strait is one of the few riders to have entered all the previous Rampage editions. Kyle was remarkably only 14 when he entered the inaugural event in 2001

Gulevich's leap
Geoff Gulevich took 5th place in Red Bull Rampage 2010. During that run he took his line from the centre ridge off the start. It will be interesting if Gulevich uses the same line this year to approach the Oakley Icon Sender

Sign on
Red Bull Rampage allows fans to get close-up to their heroes. Darren Berrecloth always makes himself available to sign autographs after finishing riding for the day
