Australia’s Kyle Baldock was celebrating double gold at the X Games in Foz do Iguaçu after pulling off wins in the BMX Park and BMX Dirt disciplines on Saturday.
In the Park final, Kyle took gold with a combined score of 74.00 from his two runs. Highlights from those runs included tailwhip flairs, corked 900s, and a backflip 360. Pat Casey and Dennis Enarson finished second and third respectively. Four-time X Games gold medalist Daniel Dhers finished fifth.
Kyle was able to repeat his strong form in the Dirt competition later on in the day. Brandon Dosch and Ryan Nyquist were edged out with Kyle scoring 92.00 on his second run. He then repeated the score on his fourth and final run. His second run combination included a corked 720, tailwhip to barspin, x-up, and tailwhip windshield wiper 360.
