Shanaze Reade takes the SX title in Argentina

Shanaze Reade continued her good start to the UCI BMX Supercross season by winning the second round of the World Cup in Santiago del Estero, Argentina.

As in Manchester, the Britain remained unbeaten during race day and took the victory in the final ahead of Columbian Mariana Pajon and the Netherland’s Laura Smulders.

In the men’s competition, current World Champion Connor Fields took the win with Dutchman Jelle van Gorkom second and Red Bull's French rider Joris Daudet in third. Another Red Bull rider, South Africa's Sifiso Nhlapo, finished sixth.
