After a pressure cooker of a weekend here in Austria, Stevie Smith has taken not only his third World Cup in a row but also the 2013 overall title.

The man who had led the points race from the start of the season, Gee Atherton, had to make do with fourth on the day. A shattering result after his incredible early season form.

French flyer, Loic Bruni, was an incredible second whilst Mick Hannah came in third for Hutchinson United Ride.

George Brannigan, Remi Thirion and Josh Bryceland all took lengthy sits in the hot seat but once the racing reached the sharp end, times began to tumble.

In the Women's race, Rachel Atherton locked up the overall title with a second place ahead of countrywoman, Manon Carpenter, but behind an ecstatic Emmeline Ragot. It was a clever ride from Rachel and marks the end of what will surely be regarded as one of her finest ever seasons.
