Bike Unchained let you ride with the Athertons, and now we’re giving you the chance to take to the virtual powder-covered mountains with some of the world’s best snowboarders in Red Bull Media House’s latest mobile game, available now.
You play as a talented snowboarder whose career is cut short by an unfortunate accident. You’re still determined to make it to the big time (and big air) once again however, and earn a chance to film a scene in The Fourth Phase. To do so you’ll need to catch the film crew’s attention by showing your best tricks while riding backcountry powder, chutes, pillow lines, steeps and spines.

Starting off in the British Columbian mountains, you’ll need to build up your reputation once more by carving up regular missions and throwing tricks using the intuitive touchscreen control system. As you complete stages and score points you’ll be able to collect and upgrade vehicles from drones to snowmobiles to kit out your basecamp, as well as deck out your rider in new gear and equip better boards.
Once you’ve got your best jumps mastered in British Columbia, you’ll then move on to Wyoming and Alaska to ride the biggest lines and secure your spot in the upcoming movie. You’ll need to choose your runs carefully however: with unpredictable weather patterns, you’ll have to wait for the perfect filming conditions to earn the respect of the game's cast of characters. It’s not just the pros you’ll need to impress though: every trick you throw from a simple grab to a triple cork can be captured and shared with the world.
In the latest update meanwhile you’ll travel to a brand new location featuring more signature moments and missions – Japan. You’ll face off against real world riders like Bryan Iguchi and Pat Moore in a bid to win 54 brand new pieces of collectible gear from brands including Quiksilver and DC. Can you beat the competition in limited time events, like Jussi's Japanese Shredfest, Pat Moore's Partytime and Curt Morgan's Scouting Report?
Snowboarding The Fourth Phase is the latest game from Red Bull Media House’s partnership with Canadian game studio Roadhouse Interactive. The duo have also worked together on mobile game titles, Bike Unchained and Red Bull Air Race: The Game, and much like those titles, the game is built to keep you entertained and coming back for more all the way until the movie’s release and beyond.
Check in daily for new missions, online contests and gear drops, and keep hitting the epic terrain for your chance at snowboarding superstardom and a place atop the leaderboard.
