The Colombian Kart Fight Final took place at the Kartodromo Juan Pablo Montoya in Bogota on Saturday September 1st and what a fantastic event it was.

The Colombian driver Manuela Vasquez, an international karting star, put on a great exhibition with Martin Sala, another experienced Colombian driver to inspire the participants and excite the audience.

At the end of the day Vasquez presented the Kart Fight Final Colombia trophy to Gustavo Pinzon. “I can’t believe it, I'm so happy for this. I was really hoping to race in the World Final. During the past days I've been reviewing in my imagination the track and dreaming to be the winner,” said Pinzon.

After several months of qualifiers in five Colombian cities; Bogota, Cali, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga and Pereira, the 12 best amateur kart racers in the nation reached the final. It was a very tough road to decide the representative to go to Italy and the World Final.
