Jake Gagne was born and bred in Ramona, California. To date, the young American pro has won over 300 races in his 10 years of racing, managing to strike a balance between school and a successful career on the track by graduating with a 4.0 GPA.
The hard-working and dedicated athlete's first major title came in 2005, when he became Amateur National Motocross Champion. In 2009, Gagne began competing in the first running of the AMA Pro Racing Supersport East series, earning himself a respectable sixth place. A year later, he became Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup World Champion, taking four rounds that ultimately earned him the title. He returned for the 2010 AMA Pro Racing SuperSport West Championship, taking two podiums at Daytona.
Jake's move to Moto2 in 2011 was short-lived as he moved up to the AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike Championship in 2012. Today, Jake competes for RoadRace Factory Yamaha, and even became the AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike Champion in 2014.
For 2015, Jake Gagne heads the RoadRace Factory team’s efforts in the MotoAmerica 1000cc Superstock class aboard the beautiful Yamaha R1. Making the transition from the R6 to the brand new R1 is no small feat, but Jake is prepared for this new challenge.Read more
