2013 Grand Prix of Aragón

Teruel, Spain

A playground for motorsports, the ultra-modern MotorLand Aragón was designed to continue the rich tradition of street racing that had begun in nearby Alcañiz but in a safer, purpose-built environment and, at the same time, to attract the major racing series and their fans to the region. Coming from the pen of uber-designer Hermann Tilke, MotorLand Aragón is 5km long, has 17 turns, a 968m straight and proved a hit with riders from its inaugural GP in 2010, winning the GP of the Year Award in its first season.
