Marc Márquez: Master of MotoGP

You could just say 'Marc Márquez's season', and leave it there, but there's so much more to it than that.
The Records
With 12 victories in a season he's equalled the most wins in a single campaign, and could top it with lucky number 13 in Valencia.
He's scored the most pole positions ever in a year (13 – luckily he's not superstitious), and he's the youngest ever double MotoGP World Champion. And he's still only 21 years old.
The Style
Márquez has been involved in the most entertaining battles this year, going head to head with the likes of Jorge Lorenzo at Silverstone and Valentino Rossi in Qatar.
His elbow-down technique has been copied by all, and he seems capable of pushing the bike to its limits – and even beyond, as demonstrated by this amazing save in testing at Brno – without ever really losing control.
Rossi's renaissance with a new crew chief in 2014 has also added to the show, with the veteran Italian claiming wins and looking good for a runner-up finish in the championship. He's gone wheel to wheel with Márquez and has already said that he feels a title challenge in 2015 is on.

Marc Márquez & Dani Pedrosa: Faster

The Enjoyment
There's a fun side to Márquez too, which comes across in his interviews and was no more evident than in his Faster adventure with MotoGP team-mate Dani Pedrosa.

Maverick Viñales: Moto2 to MotoGP in the blink of an eye

Rookie of the Year in his debut Moto2 season with four wins and just under 10 podiums, Viñales took no time at all to get up to speed in Moto2 as he won his second ever race in the series.
He's been elbows out all year and has won three of the last four races heading to Valencia, and will be in MotoGP with Suzuki in 2015. That's reason to be very excited indeed.

Jack Miller: Taking a step into the big time

Moto3 has offered up more than it's fair share of thrilling entertainment this year, and it's come down to a title showdown between Jack Miller and Álex Márquez.
The Australian's personality and skill have earned him a direct passage to MotoGP next year, bypassing Moto2 completely, and some of his rides have been jaw dropping.
Márquez has been equally as impressive, and their toe to toe brawl at the Malaysian GP has set things up for an unmissable finale in Valencia.
