Peugeot crew Cyril Despres and co-driver David Castera are all set for another assault on the Dakar.
Team Peugeot Total return to tackle the Dakar Rally once more in 2017, this time with a brand-new car – the fearsome Peugeot 3008DKR. The reigning champions will be aiming for even more success at the world’s most challenging rally as it travels through Paraguay, Bolivia and Argentina. Back in the saddle for Team Peugeot-Total are its all-star line-up of drivers: Stéphane Peterhansel (12-time Dakar winner including the 2016 edition with Peugeot), Carlos Sainz (former Dakar winner and two-time WRC champion), Cyril Despres (five-time Dakar bike category winner) and Sébastien Loeb (nine-time WRC champion). There’s an abundance of racing pedigree behind the wheel and expert mechanical know-how going into building the new machine, we can’t wait for the next wild ride in South America!
