From May 26 to 29, more than 1,500 offroad motorcyclists from around the world will transform the quiet village of Eisenerz in the heart of Austria into the pulsating epicentre of the international extreme enduro scene.
The world's elite will go tyre-to-tyre with amateurs from 40 countries and every continent at the legendary Erzbergrodeo, engaging in a merciless battle with the Iron Mountain.
The event’s finale is the Red Bull Hare Scramble – a four-hour dirt-bike race regarded as the world’s toughest one-day Hard Enduro race. All the intense action will be broadcast live on Red Bull TV.
The list of participants for the 22nd edition of this event reads like the who’s who of enduro racing. Jonny Walker and Alfredo Gómez will ride with the KTM Extreme Enduro Factory Racing Team. While Graham Jarvis and Mario Roman will be out for top spot on their Husqvarna machinery. Also watch out for Taddy Blazusiak who returns to the Iron Mountain on a quest to win the event for a record sixth time.
Reigning Cross-Country Rally champion Matthias Walkner will be a special guest and watch out for local favourite Lars Enöckl, first lady of the Dakar Rally Laia Sanz and EnduroCross stars Cody Webb and Taylor Robert plus rising stars Manuel Lettenbichler and Wade Young.
The Red Bull Hare Scramble will be broadcast live on Red Bull TV on Sunday, May 29.
