RallyCross ride along with Team Peugeot Hansen

Saddle up with Sébastien Loeb for RallyCross laps at the World RallyCross Lydden Hill Circuit.

With the latest World RallyCross season getting off to a flying start in Barcelona last weekend, we’ve come up with a special invitation for you. Hit play on the clip above for an immersive lap in the company of rally legend Sébastien Loeb.
Filmed 100 percent with GoPro cameras, the clip shows Loeb getting up to speed as he puts the Peugeot 208 WRX through its final pre-season paces at the Lydden Hill Circuit, home of the UK’s round of the World RallyCross Championship.
Watch Loeb attack the 1.4km track comprised of asphalt and dirt sections as he tops out his 600bhp machine at 164kph. We think you’ll agree that pre-season testing has never looked so much fun.

Ekström comes out on top in Barcelona

Reigning World RallyCross champion Mattias Ekström proved that he is still the man to beat in 2017 with a lights-to-flag win at this season’s opening round in Barcelona. The Swede was on top form all weekend at the wheel of his Audi S1 EKS RX quattro and was rewarded with maximum championship points. Ekström’s team-mate Toomas Heikkinen also showed good speed to underline the squad’s chances of collecting this year’s Constructors’ Championship.
The fastest Peugeot 208 WRX at the weekend belonged to Timmy Hansen who secured sixth place overall. Timmy’s team-mate Loeb was unable to reach the semi-finals following a spin in Q3 due to a broken driveshaft. Kevin Hansen, the third Team Peugeot Hansen driver, got his rookie season off to an impressive start by securing a spot in the semi-finals.
