Watch X Ambassadors record an exclusive .Wav File

Imagine Dragons’ favourite band are in revealing mood to kick off our new interview series.
By Chris Parkin

Getting world-famous artists to sit down for an intimate chat is no mean feat, however quickfire the interview. Recording, touring and the general business of being a pop artist does kind of get in the way. But in our brand-new .Wav Files series we'll be sitting down with some of the most acclaimed music artists of the past few years.

Kicking things off this week are singer Sam Harris and guitarist Noah Feldshuh from Ithaca, New York's alt-rock outfit X Ambassadors.

After the group's biggest fan, Imagine Dragons' Dan Reynolds, got them signed to Interscope the four-piece released their arena-shaking debut album VHS in 2015 and stormed the charts with their inescapable Renegades hit.

They're riding the crest of a wave right now, so sat Harris and Feldshuh in front of Toronto DJ and Indie88's Afternoon Drive host Raina for a quick chat. Hit play and you'll hear the band talking about the importance of celebrating eccentricity, the obstacles that have shaped the band and, most revealing of all, what they last Googled.

It's an eye-opening way to kick-off a series that will see the likes of A$AP FergMS MR, BADBADNOTGOOD and The Neighbourhood and more being grilled over the coming weeks.
