In 2010, the world-renowned Flying Steps b-boy crew, winners of four World Breakdance Championships, connected with conductor Christoph Hagel to create a unique blend of urban dance and classical music: Red Bull Flying Bach.

After touring Europe, Australia and Japan and packing houses for individual shows in Chicago and Houston, they're ready for their first full U.S. tour. It all starts in San Francisco, where Flying Bach will make its California debut with shows May 20-22 at the Masonic Theatre.

The show pairs Johannes Sebastian Bach's The Well-Tempered Clavier with modern breakdancing, shattering the barrier between high art and street culture. Bach's legendary compositions are performed with piano and electronic beats to complement Flying Steps' breaking.
