Way back in 2014, EDM supremo Harry Rodrigues, aka Harlem Shake hitmaker Baauer, decided to hit the road in search of inspiration for his next recordings. Off he set, traversing the globe from Japanese volcanoes to Middle Eastern deserts, collecting sounds as well as experiences and new friends. The result was a brand-new EP and a fascinating film, Searching For Sound.

Two years later, Russian musician and producer MITYA is following in Baauer's footsteps in the first of a brand-new web series called (you guessed it) Searching For Sound. Instead of hopping around the globe though, he's exploring noises closer to home.

MITYA travels from Volga to the Ural Mountains as he wanders the ancient settlements of Russia's Tatarstan region in search of forgotten songs, while also exploring his own family history.
