This is the Vienna skate scene

Join the skateboarding joyride around the cultured Austrian capital and meet the locals!

Vienna offers not only high culture and refined coffee houses, but also the best flatground, endless spots and perfect plazas. The city is growing, unchecked.
As you push through Vienna's perfect streets, you can't fail to be impressed by the imposing architecture, historic buildings and ambience of one of Europe's leafiest, green cities. Not for nothing was Vienna recently named as the most liveable city in the world.
A lot of well known names from the skate scene – Muki Rüstig, Marco Kada, Mario Wirnsberger and Ante Aiello, to name a few – have moved to the capital over time. Also resident here we have European champion and ledge wizard, Philipp Schuster, the Luger brothers Andi and Filo, as well as Daniel Spiegel.
More and more teams from around Europe come to Vienna these days as well, to skate the countless street spots.
The crews of Frido Fiebinger and Matthew Collins synced together and after building numerous DIY spots, created a company called Spoff Club, building perfect concrete skateparks. The new Währinger Park in the 18th district is definitely worth a worth visit, and a good place to connect with the locals.
Vienna is always worth a visit but the best time for a trip is from May through until September, to make the most of those summery weather conditions. After a heated session, all the swimming spots on the Danube offer a refreshing break from it all, too!
