Join Korahn Gayle for golden skate times in Yangon

An international squadron take on the streets of the Myanmar capital on their golden skate odyssey.
By Niall Neeson

Welcome to Myanmar. Korahn Gayle took up an offer to visit fellow British skater Ali Drummond, experience the mysterious Asian society, and learn more about Yangon's rad little skatepark and the nascent skateboarding scene in the country.

It seemed a shame not to assemble a crew for the sessions, and so we reached out to France's cOLLAPSe duo Matt Debauche and George Poole, Germany's Patrick Rogalski, American underground blazer Max Garson and everyone's favourite Canadian friend, Chris Haslam, to fill a van and get some new surfaces under their flatspotted urethane.

Enjoy Drummond's insightful interview and get ready to weep at yet more ridiculous skate terrain as our posse go in on the park, and on the surprisingly smooth streets of Myanmar in part one of three from the Golden Skate Odyssey above, or click below for the rest!
