Hi, my name is Maya Gabeira. My discipline is surfing big wave. My friends call me Maya. I was born on 10 April 1987 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. My philosophy of life is always be open for new challenges. My favourite food is sushi. My favourite music is R&B.

Maya Gabeira is where beauty meets beasts. The Brazilian stunner caught the attention of the surf world with her glowing brown eyes, and that was before we had even figured out that she charges. Whether it's Teahopoo or Maverick's, Maya is on practically every mega swell that erupts within our oceans. She provides quite a lovely contrast to the bearded grizzly bears of men who charge alongside her.
