On Tuesday morning at 6am, the first jetskis pulled up at Teahupoo to meet a new swell that many had been tracking for some time. It was around six to eight feet, paddleable, and kinda perfect. By lunch time it'd picked up to 13ish feet. And by afternoon, there were 20 foot sets rolling through.
A huge team of paddlers and tow duos threw themselves into everything they could. Carlos Burle, Maya Gabeira and Raimana Van Bastolaer were all standouts. South swells never looked so good.
