We didn't have to wait for the 2017 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix to even start before the excitement kicked off! On Thursday, April 13, we got a taste of what's to come when the Scuderia Toro Rosso and Red Bull Racing superstars sat for an intimate session with members of the local media to talk about this weekend's race. It was smooth sailing through the media sessions into a meet and greet, where Bahraini triathlon champion, Abdulla Attiya and Omani Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East driver, Al Faisal Al Zubair chilled with the four drivers for snacks and conversation. We moved the action to the track for a Celebrity Garage Tour, pumping us up for not one, but two Grand Prix Opening Parties! We got to party with two globally renowned DJs, Louie Vega at Vinoteca Barcelona and Markus Schulz on a beautiful breezy landscape at Coral Bay.

After kicking off the weekend with a bang, F1 weekend was finally upon us! Day one incorporated some Bahraini culture into global motorsports when Sarah Nabil, Flipperachi, and DJ Outlaw of Outlaw Productions went on a Red Bull garage tour. Practice laps, garage tours, qualifying day, and race day kept the country abuzz for the entire weekend. The drivers enjoyed a little Bahraini summer breeze in the midst of some sunny heat, but the real cool-down came in after sundown, with Louie Vega, Markuz Schulz, and David Morales rocking the island’s dance floors! Not to mention Red Bull's after-race party at Alto in Downtown Rotana. What more could you ask for in the most action-packed weekend of the year?
