The 3rd Red Bull Doodle Art in Bahrain was just as action packed and exciting as always with the highest number of participants yet. The students were from University of Bahrain, Bahrain Polytechnic, Ahlia University, AMA International University, University College of Bahrain and Royal University for Women. 84 students participated and the top 15 were chosen over a 1 week voting process.
The winner, Jehan AlJassas from Bahrain Polytechnic was chosen from the top 15 doodles by Sara Sami, a Bahraini doodler and artist. Jehan has always loved to doodle and she does so whenever she gets the chance. When Red Bull Doodle Art was announced, she thought of it as the perfect opportunity to put pen to paper and doodle her heart out.
The top 15 doodles were displayed at the National Gallery which was held at Bahrain’s very own Red Bull space – Malja Bahrain on the 28th of April.
Sara also worked on the National Gallery where she doodled the entire pathway to the winning doodle. We gave her the walls of Malja as a canvas and she bought the doodles to life.
